During Term 2, STM had over 70 students from Years 4-6 who participated in the Vinnies Winter Sleepout. The goal of the night was to help raise funds and awareness about homelessness in our community.
Despite the heavy rain and freezing cold conditions, it was a special experience for our students to understand what it’s like to be homeless and appreciate the things we often take for granted.
A massive thanks to the teachers who stayed back to supervise and an extra big shout out to Brad from Sweet Temptation Patisserie who provided the students with dinner and a special hot chocolate treat to warm us up.
