Our Catholic school is part of the Catholic Church. We work in partnership with our local parish and priests in order to enrich the spiritual life of the students, staff and families of our school, especially through the celebration of the Sacraments.
Our Parish Priest, Fr Geoffrey Plant, plays an active role in the students’ Religious Education development by visiting classes, offering Reconciliation, involving students in parish Masses, upskilling students to be altar servers and supporting the teachers with the spiritual and knowledge components of their faith journey.
Students at St Michael’s Catholic Primary School Lane Cove are prepared for the Sacraments of Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation within their classes by their teachers, while the students from the local state and private schools are prepared by the Parish Sacramental Coordinator.
